Apple Dumplin's

 Apple Dumplin's 

1 Package of Crescent Rolls
2 Granny Smith apples
1 stick of margerine
1 cup of orange juice
3/4 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 scoop ice cream (optional)

Preheat oven to 350. 
Peel and core apples and cut into fourths. 
Open crescent rolls and separate into individual pieces. 
Wrap the apple pieces in the crescent rolls.
Place in a pan and sprinkle with cinnamon. 
In a sauce pan, melt butter. 
Add sugar and orange juice and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. 
Pour over apple dumplin's.
Pop in oven and bake for 30 minutes. 
Spoon juice from pan over the top of the dumplin's and serve warm. 
Best served with a scoop of ice cream!

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels
1 lb. white chocolate
1 9 oz. bag mini pretzels or reg. pretzels
Melt white chocolate in top pan of double boiler (we have our double boiler in storage as we rarely use it...LOL... so I just put a metal mixing bowl atop the stove top pot and it worked fine.  If you have it too close to the heat it will burn.)  I used medium heat.
Dip pretzels in chocolate.  Allow exess to drip off.  Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.  Put in a cold place until chocolate hardens. 
Then....enjoy...
